What are Live Practice Management Webcasts?

Live Webcasts are a primary means of Distance Learning.  Using modern telecommunications technologies, Economedix is able to provide quality and cost-effective Practice Management courses via the telephone and if possible the Internet.  Users can dial-in and / or log-in and be connected to a live session that provides valuable advice to improve a medical office’s business operations, productivity and profitability.

Live courses are typically held on alternate Wednesdays at 1 PM Eastern / 10 AM Pacific and prior to each session the practice receives an email with a link to download the disclosure and handout materials so that it is easy to follow along with the course during the 60 to 90 minute sessions.  Towards the end of each session live questions are taken via the telephone or email.  Participants are also welcome to send in email questions that may occur at a later time or date. 

Audio Teleconferences are becoming very popular as a convenient way to distribute information to a wide audience.  It is easy to call in to a regular or toll free number, click on the speakerphone button and listen in to a training session.  Yet, the average cost of a typical audio teleconference is between $249 and $350 dollars in the health care industry. 

Practice Management Webcasts presented by Economedix are just $99 for medical practices that join this site.  That $99 cost covers your entire medical practice … not just one person.  On average we have about 3 ½ staff and one physician listening in to each session.  So the average cost per person for a single course is just $22. 

Because many physicians and staff can’t break away to listen to a live course on Wednesdays the corresponding On-Demand Audiocast of each live session is available for the practice within a day or two after the live course.  Traditionally, the cost of adding an on-demand access to a live course costs an additional $100 - $150 … but it’s free for members of this site. 

But that’s not all … by registering for the full annual Practice Management Webcast Series, a total of 24 live and on-demand courses, you and your practice will enjoy additional dramatic savings.  The cost for this full access is just $997 instead of the regular price of $2,376 ($99 x 24).  This would equate to a “market price” of approximately $10,800 for other similar educational courses.
